Patchwork knitting is a great way to use up small amounts of yarn and combining lots of colour (and texture) making items that require a minimal amount of sewing up when the knitting is finished.
A variety of different units can be knitted but in this workshop you will be working on the square unit and variations of a square. During the day you will learn to knit a single square, join a second and third square to either side of the first square and try out a number of variations e.g. double squares and triple squares.
You will need;
- 4, 4.50 and 5mm Knitting needles
- Scissors
- Notebook and pen
