Each square measures 40cm x 40cm and is made from 2 x 50g balls of Noro Kureyon or Silk Garden or Cash Iroha. As long as two different colours are used for each square the yarns can be mixed (a great way for using up leftovers). A pair of 5mm knitting needles.
The blanket in the picture is made from 12 squares.
